This Privacy Policy explains how IR INFOTECH ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the Pundi website (pundi.in) and mobile applications — including the Pundi Customer App, Pundi Boss (Vendor) App, and Pundi Man (Delivery) App (collectively, the "Platform"). By using our Platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with our hyperlocal delivery and service aggregator features, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: When you sign up for Pundi, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and account password.

  • Location Information:

    • Customer App / Boss App: We collect your device’s GPS location while the app is in use to show nearby stores, recommend relevant services, and support accurate delivery routing.
    • Pundi Man (Delivery) App: We collect precise location while you are online so we can assign nearby delivery orders, help you navigate to pickup and drop-off points, and share live delivery progress. If you grant "Allow all the time" / background location permission, we may also collect location while the app is in the background or the screen is locked only while you are online or on an active delivery, so order tracking can continue. Location is used for order fulfillment and delivery tracking and is not sold to third parties. You can change location permissions anytime in your device settings.

  • Photos / Identity (where applicable): Delivery partners may upload profile and identity verification images during registration. Chat and profile features may allow selecting photos from your gallery.

  • Vehicle Rental Data Exemption: For users utilizing our vehicle rental services, please note that Pundi does not collect, process, or store any sensitive government identification proofs (such as Aadhar cards, PAN cards, or Driving Licenses) on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used to operate and improve the Pundi platform. Specifically, we use your data to:

  • Create and secure your user account.

  • Process and fulfill your orders for food, groceries, e-commerce, parcel deliveries, and vehicle rentals.

  • Assign and track deliveries for delivery partners (Pundi Man) while they are online.

  • Manage your Pundi Internal Wallet balance and transactions.

  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes.

  • Send order confirmations, OTPs, and delivery updates.

3. Information Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. We only share specific information with trusted partners necessary to fulfill your requests:

  • Vendors & Delivery Agents: To ensure smooth order fulfillment, we share your name, delivery address, and phone number with the local shop/vendor fulfilling your order and the assigned delivery personnel. Delivery partners’ live location may be shared with the customer and support during an active delivery for tracking.

  • Payment Processors: Online payments made via credit/debit cards or UPI are securely processed by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay. We do not store your full card details or UPI PINs on our servers.

  • Internal Wallet: Pundi features an internal digital wallet. This wallet is managed entirely by IR INFOTECH internally and is strictly independent; it is not linked to any external third-party payment gateways.

  • Communication Services: We utilize MSG91 to send critical SMS alerts and OTPs, and Zoho for sending transactional and promotional emails.

  • Push notifications: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver order and account notifications. This uses a push token for your device, not advertising IDs for ads.

4. Data Retention and Account Deletion

You have full control over your account and personal data. You can also request deletion via our web page: https://pundi.in/account-deletion

How to Delete Your Account:

For Customer App

  1. Navigate to your profile settings at: https://pundi.in/profile?page=profile-settings or in the App.
  2. Click on the three dots (menu) icon.
  3. Select the Delete Account button.
  4. Confirm your request on the pop-up screen.

For Pundi Boss App (Vendor App)

  1. Navigate to your Edit Profile Page.
  2. Click on 3 dots.
  3. Click on Delete Account Button.
  4. Confirm your request on the pop-up screen

For Pundi Man App (Deliveryman App)

  1. Open Pundi Man and go to your Profile page.
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm your request on the pop-up screen.

Upon confirmation (and provided there are no blocking ongoing orders or unpaid cash-in-hand for delivery partners), your account access is immediately revoked and your profile/account record is deleted from our active systems. Certain order, payment, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention records may be retained in anonymized or de-identified form as required by law.

5. Communication and Marketing

We may use your registered phone number and email address to send you promotional offers, discounts, and updates about Pundi.

  • Opting Out: You have the right to opt out of marketing communications at any time. You can do this by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our promotional emails or by updating your communication preferences within your account settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Pundi requires users to be at least 14 years of age to use the platform. Minors aged 14 and above may only use the platform with the direct involvement, supervision, and consent of a parent or legal guardian. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 14 without parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information.

7. Data Security

We implement standard, commercially reasonable security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Passwords are cryptographically hashed, and sensitive communications between your device and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS).
